First, my project : I'm doing an ESC in Reșița, from the first october 2019 to the 30 September 2020. My project is called Volunteering for Inclusion II and it focused on doing activities with disadvantaged children. We go for example, in an  orphanage, a school for children with disability, in two roma schools and some kindergarten.. 

My project concerns six volunteers (so one from Italy, one from Poland, one from Turkey, two local romanian volunteers and me from France). 

However we are a lot more volunteers in my organizations due to other projects. 

What is exactly an ESC ?

There is many different way to volunteers but I'll speak about the only one that I know. So the European Solidarity corps is a program financed by the E.U. You can do a volunteering service of 1 year maximum and 2 weeks minimum, in any  country of the UE but also in the countries partners of ue .

You'll receive food and pocket money and a place to live during this time.

There are a lot of different topic (tolerance, working with youth, with disabilities, Ecology..) and you should be able to find one that suits you.

This blog will be dedicated to my year of volunteering in Romania. 

I'll write about my travels, my experience as a volunteer and as a foreigner in Reșița .

I'll also try to recommend every time something that I really like. It will be a book, a song, a movie..
